"10/10 for solo female travellers! Paula and Bri were so lovely, welcoming and kind! The location is great, the bunk beds were comfortable and the rooms/washrooms/kitchen area were kept very clean. They give you a towel too which is a nice treat when travelling. It had a calm and relaxed atmosphere with a nice patio area to hangout and meet other sisters :) "

"Beach is amazing, staff is very hard working and room was spacious and clean. We absolutely loved, Aldolfo, who was our server on the beach. His job is very demanding but he works super hard to keep everyone in his section happy and well hydrated. He spoke very good english which is difficult to find in the hotel. The commercial area across the street is awesome and offers really good shopping options and every restaurant that we went to had good food but not cheap. Negatives were, too many guests in the hotel so one could rarely get a lounger and pool was loaded with kids/families. The lineups at the restaurants could be very long and food was not great, so we started going across the street for food. There was very little storage space in the room - no drawers and only 5 hangers."

"There was nothing wrong with this hotel. It was beautiful, fairly clean, the AC worked and the buffet food was amazing. It didn't have much for shows or entertainment and there wasn't alot to do around the resort. Just enough to keep you happy and satisfied. Mazatlan is different than other places in Mexico but we felt warm and safe and happy we went. "

"Property was good, location is far from the airport, I strongly recommend you a car rental, we used a taxi at the hotel and driver wasn’t very kind, room was spacious and terrace had a great view to the pool. They don’t have ice machines so you have to request room service if you need ice, Umo and Toro restaurants were great."

"The rooms were super clean. The food was amazing! The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. The pools were a blast! The views are gorgeous! Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. We are a family of 5\. Kids ages 13-9\. They absolutely loved it!! We'll be back for sure!! The only thing I would want different is if they had a hot tub or spa outside. Not a make or break. Just would be nice during cooler temps."

"Sandos Finesterra is a lovely resort in a beautiful setting. The staff works very hard to see the property is well kept. The rooms are a little outdated and the AC wasn’t keeping the room cool, even in March. Additionally the shower didn’t drain so basic amenities were lacking."
