"It's conveniently located right in the middle of Santa Maria, it's a historic building upgrades would be great. For the price I'd definitely stay here again"

"The walls are paper thin so don’t stay here unless you plan to sleep with earplugs. We stayed with our baby, which was a huge mistake. The white noise machine we brought with us wasn’t enough to drown out the noise of the upstairs neighbors pacing the floor all night or enough to block out the sound of neighbors phone conversations or arguments. We spend three sleepless nights here for the Solvang Century. We will never stay here again! Worst part is that the staff leaves at 6pm so there’s no one around the enforce quiet hours. "

"First - hats off to the welcoming staff, they were great and help me navigate the check in... Unfortunately after that I would say it was rough - I upgraded to the wine cottage, but with its proximity to the highway, it is definitely a down grade... Coupled with the construction going on beside the unit I was in (607) that wasn't mentioned, and the WiFi (which didn't work), I wish I would have done a national park or surf cottage."

"GREAT location, very helpful friendly employee at check-in and when I went to the desk with a question. Room was very clean, nice space for the price. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. "

"This property served our purpose for the night. It was practical and no frills. There was no refrigerator, the bathroom seemed clean but the shower liner had seen better days. The bed was decent and we slept well. "

"Great location. Friendly staff. Nice room, but it felt 'cold' and sterile with the laminate flooring. If you just need an overnight room this is your property. If looking for a cozier room - may want to find another. Breakfast was so-so, wasn't a 'fan' of the offerings - mostly breads, cereal, and fake eggs. Nice outdoor offerings with seating and 2 fire pits. Didn't get to partake of the wine tastings as we were there on the wrong days for the offering. "

"The room was clean, and the front desk clerk was pleasant. This is the only good thing I can say about this hotel! It's falling apart everywhere! Walkway from one building to another is literally falling apart. Spa is broken, has nasty water and debris in it. Paint peeling and wood rot everywhere. The halls smelled like freshener over mold. Breakfast was fairly standard continental style with nasty eggs, turkey sausage, biscuits & gravy and assorted breads etc. Soda machine and water machine were out of order. Yes, it's inexpensive, but not worth the savings!"
