“Staff is friendly and the rooms were very clean. The property is really run down. It seems they are working on it though. I could hear guests running around in rooms all night. It seems the walls are very thin. Also, there internet blocks you from going to certain websites.
I'm not sure on safety There were run down cars in the parking lot and some of the guests appeared shady. The entire hotel is non-smoking but when I arrived one of the guests was smoking what smelled like marijuana in one……

“Stay was okay. Building was clean and everything worked well. Location was much further from red river gorge than expected, about 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes one way to a trail. Bed was very hard. Hot tub was nice. Overall, decent if you dont mind the sleeping conditions and the drive but for us it wasnt worth the cost ”

“Front desk at check in was great, very nice and friendly. Got to our room (137) - all the way at the end next to the side entrance. Stairwell door is right across from that room door and it slammed often at night waking us up. The side entrance door to the outside is broken and every time a person goes in or out, it stays wide open for anyone to enter all day and night. It needs fixed ASAP. “We booked the jacuzzi suite room. If you have a room with one of those in there I recommend setting the air conditioner to the “dry” setting, if not the whole room is moist.
