“Im März war es doch noch ziemlich frisch, die Heizung funktionierte. Wir haben ein Upgrade bekommen und dadurch in der 2. Ebene eine sehr große sonnige Terrasse bekommen. Die Unterkunft ist nicht für mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen geeignet, viele Treppen, kein Fahrstuhl. Einziges Makel: das Frühstück wird nicht am Buffet eingenommen, sondern man wählt aus einem Menü und erhält eine Box und speist im Zimmer oder auf der Terrasse des Hauses. Wer lieber am Buffet speist, sollte dies wissen. Das……

“We really enjoyed our stay at The Modernist. The hotel is in a quiet and lovely part of Athens, though very quick and easy to visit the main attractions from here. Breakfast was fabulous and staff all friendly and helpful. Kolonaki has many great non-touristy restaurants too. Would highly recommend. ”

“The property is located right behind the national Archeological museum, a 15 min walk from the city center. Staff was super helpful from the beginning in arranging transportation from the airport. They also helped with all different types of recommendations on where to go, must see, places to eat etc. Very friendly and very oriented to help and resolve any requests!”

“Place is quiet and cozy. Surrounded by restaurants and supermarkets. Just 2 things need to be improved: no slope in the entrance that people have to lite the luggage up to get in. Also staff provide with the wrong entrance code and I arrive but have to wait outside the door in the evening. Others are great.”

“A steady uphill walk from the nearest metro station with variable pavement quality. Entered via the code sent to us on the day. Upto 6th floor reception in the lift to be greeted by very helpful staff. Places to eat and drink...wifi code...and then to our clean spacious room. Air con, small balcony, remarkably quiet. Little convenience store 30 steps from entrance. Walked down to a busy area with lots of food and seating only 5 mins from the hotel. Room had big bathroom but be warned..water is……

“I loved having an apartment Kolinaki - it’s a very safe and pretty area with nice restaurants and high end shops. Once I got in touch with the host, communication was great but I had to call first to confirm everything. The wear of the show was the rooftop porch with a view of the acropolis and being able to watch the lights coming on as the sunset set. Great little kitchen and it was nice to have a washer dryer.”

“Good experience, clean and comfortable apartment. The check took 20-30 min longer as expected. This was due to the busy schedule of the caretaker. Communication was easy, and replies were fast and adequate. Location is great; I loved the little balcony allowing me to sit outside; the temperature in Athens was very agreeable! 10 min walk to conference center/Metro. Many coffee shops and places to relax as well as stores for shopping. Would stay here again”

“Hotel is in 10min minutes on foot from from metro station, and is very close to athens library, academy of Athens, there is a supermarket in 2 min on foot, pharmacy is nearby, the room is big and tidy, the reception is very help and nice and we can connect to the reception through WhatsApp, it is really nice. We stay 2 night in athens and then travel to Santorini, and back the athens, we left our bigger luggage in the hotel reception, so it is much easier for us to travel in Santorini small……
