There is no downside to the property as long as someone in your party is okay climbing up and down a very stable, built-in ladder to access their bedroom. The beds are comfortable, the water pressure is excellent and the air conditioning works really well. Within walking distance there is an excellent place for breakfast, Hi Volt, and a couple of coffee shops with drinkable coffee, PJ's and French Truck. There are also a couple of bars and other restaurants which we did not try, plus some shops and I treated myself to a gorgeous pair of Krewe sunglasses. Being somewhat off the beaten path, this is a great location if you want to stay somewhere a bit quieter or are driving and don't want to pay for parking and don't mind catching an Uber or the Street Car to get to the French Quarter or the Warehouse District. The Street Car is about a 10 minute walk and drops you off on Canal Street right across from the French Quarter as well as other places like the zoo or the Garden District. Jules was very responsive and helpful and she has a beautiful, friendly Doberman who greeted us when we arrived.
