"We have just returned from a lovely week away at The Ship Inn. The cottage was wonderful and felt very much like home as soon as we arrived. Lots of space for the 7 off us including 4 children age 11-14. Beds were very comfortable and the cottage was very clean. Crantock Beach is within 10 minutes walk, with great parking, beach / food shop and toilets. Lots of options locally to walk and have a meal/drinks- a perfect location. We look forward to visiting again."

"Quiet, rural, peaceful cottage. Very cozy for my wife and me, who are traveling from the United States. Hosts were very responsive to our questions. The only thing we would have liked to know in advance is that we needed to supply our own laundry detergent and our own additional rolls of toilet paper, as there was only one roll."

"The cottage is very well looked after, with lots of space. The location is very remote, so perfect for relaxing. Kathy was attentive and helpful and the welcome box was a nice touch"

"The property was lovely, very clean and tidy. Only a couple of moans, there was no welcome pack to say what time the pub was open etc, no paperwork for the tv and we weren't told there is wifi, when bookings it said no wifi! Some of the plastic utensils were so bendy they couldn't really do their job properly ie potato masher and serving spoons!! Apart from that everything was great."

Endroit calme pour passer de très bonne nuit. Et surtout un grand MERCI a Sarah qui a toujours était là pour nous indiquer tout les bon conseil. Une personne extrêmement gentil. "Had a great time in Oct half-term break here. Daughter walked to surf course at Fistral Beach, everything else a short walk out of the door. No parking, but the nearby long term parking car park was cheap and easy. Oh, and Sainsbury's literally opposite!"

"We had a lovely stay at Oms place. The house is a great size, actually a lot bigger than we expected. Bedrooms spacious and the living area was ideal for 2 families. The house was lovely and clean and welcoming. Facilities on site are good, only missing a shop, nearest shop is a short drive away. Kids enjoyed the pool and the park, outside pool was not yet open but can imagine in summer would be a real winner. Thanks, would not hesitate to book again!"

"Well equipped clean cottage. The steps into the bathroom however should be clearly marked as very difficult to see and could be potentially dangerous. Define with different coloured tiling? Good location close to the coast and situated in a village that has good amenities."

"Our family had a wonderful stay at this property located within Atlantic Reach Resort. The property met our expectations with ample space and amenities. The location was perfect for exploring Newquay and the resort itself boasts many benefits such as a local pub, cafe, indoor/ outdoor pool/ gym if you please, crazy golf for the kids and much more we didn't touch on as the weather was so good we spent most of our stay exploring different beaches and local towns. "Excellent location - but what made this property and stay above par was the wonderful way in which we were hosted. Phil and Jan gave us a lovely welcome. The home (which I will use as a term rather than property because it really is a home from home) was brilliantly appointed we wanted for nothing. Quite often with rentals they can look tired compared to the photos and the cleanliness isn’t great which you accept for the quick turnarounds but this was not the case for Phil and Jan’s place it was...

"Lovely location and only a few minutes in the car to a great dog friendly beach. The Falcon pub nearby serves amazing food. Cottage is very well equipped. Only downside is the decor could do with updating and a new suite in the lounge area"
