"Great location, staff, and property."

"We had a group of five and two rooms. They gave us rooms that were not adjoining, but were next to each other, which would only have been an issue if our kids were younger. We did get the train side of the hotel, but hardly heard it, even overnight. Room service checked in with us every morning. The complimentary breakfast was great. The location can't be beat for the price. The elevators are terribly slow, but thats the only issue we encountered. We will definitely be stsyinf here again. "

"I highly recommend The Hotel Oceanside!!! It was a great experience! Beginning with check in, Tony was so professional and got us going FAST! We arrived late at night and he served us well. We booked the Suite which was SO WORTH IT! 2 floors, lower floor living room with futon, restroom and small kitchenette with mini fridge, sink, coffee, microwave, glass plates/cups & utensils for us to use. Top floor bedroom with King bed, desk and ocean view in the distance. Not far from the beach but best to drive. Denny’s is a five minute walk, In-N-Out Burger across the street, Harbor cafe which is also a six minute walk and highly recommended! An excellent Italian restaurant also a six minute walk called Venetos Cucina Italiana another I highly recommend! We slept SO GOOD and peaceful, and we did not hear any other guests from our room. We can’t wait to have another lowkey and peaceful stay at The Hotel Oceanside!! Thank you so much!! "

"The hotel is within a 7 minute drive from Oceanside Pier. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The front desk person said there was breakfast, but they only offered coffee, cereal, fruit, and granola bars, which is a good snack. My only complaint was the sewer smell from the bathroom. We had to keep the bathroom room close, so the smell did not come into the room. "
