“Location was excellent. The windows have been upgraded but the bathroom needs a complete renovation, and the inch and a half step up into the bathroom was a problem.”

“good location view etc, they have kayaks and bikes to use. Nice location easily drive to Petoskey, next to crooked river with turtles, frogs, birds etc. For price the room was a bit dated. Also the free breakfast was not great. I realize it is "continental" but choices for pastries etc pretty low end.”

“I booked a room for a substantial amount of money because my 90 year old father was in the hospital with heart issues. He was supposed to be in for a couple days. A couple hours after I booked the room, he was surprisingly able to be released. The hotel manager was very uncooperative about even listening for my refund request. I had just driven 13 hours straight from North Carolina. I expected a little compassion and empathy but apparently he wanted to get the ridiculous amount of money and then……

“Beautiful, old building. Very well maintained and very clean. The room was comfortable and reasonably quiet. I didn't use any amenities other than wi-fi which was very slow and kept dropping connection. No parking other than on the residential street, so you may have to walk some distance to get to/from your vehicle. No elevator, but staff was willing to help carry my luggage. I booked the inn specifically for proximity to the John M Hall Auditorium and for that it was unbeatable.”

“The lady at front desk (Jackie?) was very nice, fun and helped us in many ways. It’s an old building and that’s a part of experience. The only disappointment was the jet tab in our room. Probably not used much though looked clean, the hot water was brownish and a bit challenging to use it. Still we enjoyed our stay :)”
