    This property is a 10-15 minute walk from the the Plazuela Machado, the focus of community activity in the centro historico, which is exactly what we were looking for. For restaurants and the feeling of an old Mexican city, the centro historico makes Mazatlan unique in Mexico.     We had a small group of 9 adults who spent 14 wonderful days in this perfect location, enjoying the beautiful sunsets and all that Centro Historico area has to offer. During the day, we were able to take the beach chairs onto Olas Altas beach that we overlooked, sit in the huge living room looking out to the ocean, and roam the streeets enjoying the many wonderful restaurants. Gregory and Jodie were the perfect hosts, responding to my many questions while I was in the process of booking and preparing for the trip. Once there, I frequently had questions and the response was immediate. One must remember most lodging in this area of Mazatlan is in older buildings, which is true in this case. With that, comes the quirks of older buildings, but that also means you will have lodging that has more character and charm-not a sterile building. We used the barbecue and cooked several meals there and sat at the long table, enjoying our wine, toasting to friendship, and considering ourselves lucky to have found this place!-one note, if you need absolute silence in order to sleep, this may not be the place for you if you are in one of the bedroooms that opens to the front or side streets. My room opened to the front (Olas Altas) and I loved the sound of the waves and even became accustomed to the motorcycles and the music and laughter of others. How can one not appreciate the sounds of happiness!?…

    Complete scam, booked and did not get in touch with property owner. Didn't get money back nor stayed. They never opened door for us to stay that day. we had to find a different room at midnight. Horrible experience!!!…
