“The cabin was cute and cozy, warm and inviting! The host was so easy to communicate with and helpful and went out of his way to ensure an enjoyable stay. We'll be back!”

“We stayed in a yurt. It was very comfortable for three people. A bunk bed and one-man cot were provided. Bring your own bedding. (We liked the fact that it had a small fridge, coffee machine, heater, and fan. The designated grill for the yurt was a PLUS for cooking/grilling purposes. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. “We had a really wonderful stay at this cozy cabin—it truly felt like a little piece of heaven. The area itself is beautiful, and we had an amazing time enjoying everything around us. The cabin was comfortable, inviting, and a great place to relax.Leading up to the trip, communication was a bit frustrating, as it seemed to be handled by an automated system that wasn’t always clear or helpful. “Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. The front seems pretty hemmed in by the neighbors but the back of the property opens up to the woods. We got to see a bear and her two cubs roll past one evening which was exciting for the kids. At the time of our visit, there was some construction next door but I can't fault the property for that. The downstairs……
