We checked in after the office had closed. There was a nice "after hours" check-in procedure in place. It certainly helped to alleviate the stress of travel after a long drive. There weren't any problems with the room, aside from a loose tile next to the bed. The boardwalk outside our room creaked ...
The 72-year-old owner is so friendly, gave us a bunch of great advice about going to the Acadia National Park, our trip was so much better because of him. The room was super clean and nice, best motel I ever stayed!
Quiet and clean. Friendly host, fast check in. Easy druve to Acadia and Bar Harbor.
Basic accommodations in a cabin. the nearby road is noisy until late in the evening but the air conditioner masks some of the noise.
This is one of the nicer Motel 6's I have stayed at. Although it was evident someone had showered recently in my room, everything else was fine. Spacious, comfy and simple. Will stay again when passing through Bangor.
The room inside was nice it’s just the outside that’s not very appealing.
Clean. Nice area for gathering around camp fire at night. Not far from town.
I had not been back to Orono in 25 years since I graduated and was very pleased with everything.
Clean room, not musty, and the AC was cranking on a hot, humid day. Everything was pretty basic, but everything worked, everything was clean. Could have asked for more power outlets, and the WiFi went weird for about 20 minutes. And there is a bar on the property, which is convenient.
Room was convenient and serviceable. The facility was readily accessible.
Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and cheap! Fresh blueberry coffee in AM and within driving distance of tons of things to do and restaurants
This hotel is the perfect location for my annual trip to the area.
Cozy feel with all the needed amenities to live here comfortably.
