Stunning views, gorgeous sauna, and lovely outdoor pool. Would recommend a car for exploring!

Hotel was nice, staff were friendly, massive room, bathroom needed a little modernisation but other than that was great. Pool area had plenty of seating but the sun beds were short and uncomfortable. Breakfast options were extensive, plenty of choice for vegetarians! Bar was a little expensive but great during happy hour. Location was spot on for walking and pick up/drop offs. We had a lovely stay!

We have just had a 3 night stay at the Hotel and it was lovely. When we arrived the reception staff were very friendly and gave us a brief tour, when our room was ready we were again escorted there by a member of reception. The room was a great size with a small patio area overlooking the lush gardens. We had dinner in the restauarant on our first night, which was excellent, service was impeccable. We used the bar a couple of times, loving the idea that we got to choose our "Happy Hour", we also ate in the Bar on 2 occasions and again the food was excellent. Breakfast was very good with a great slection of food.The Hotel is very traditional and has a lot of character, we will hopefully return one day and would recommend to anyone who would like to be within 15 mins of the centre of Funchal but still stay in a "little oasis".
