“Clean, beautiful room with a vintage feel. Great staff, very attentive. If you have a show to go to they offer a car service to take you there. It’s a 5 minute walk to the theater though so that was nice. Tandem bakery is right next door. You have to get coffee and pastries. Make sure to get a loaded biscuit. ”

One day out of four they strangely neglected to clean the room, even with a door sign requesting service, but the night front desk person took it upon herself to do so when we noted the problem after returning around dinner time. She’s a gem. Showers were excellent. Rooms were reasonably sized too. Request a third floor if you don’t like the sound of people above your room walking around as the hardwood floors amplify this. “What a gorgeous property and very pleasant stay! Thank you to the entire team for the immaculate, unique setting. We felt welcomed the moment we arrived, enjoyed the sunrise from the huge windows overlooking the water, and the delicious continental breakfast. The location overlooks a lovely beach and walking path and we enjoyed the serenity and delicious dining in South Portland as well as the convenience to Old Port. We would definitely return and have mentioned the inn to friends. Thanks……

“This place seems brand new! The room was very nice. The kitchen was very nice and I got to pop some popcorn! Was allowed to bring our dog Hazel and it was just $10 extra ! Just hope people don't reck that deal for others. The only reason I gave 4 stars was our room was right near man entrance on the first floor and every time people went in and out we could hear the door slam!! Would definitely go again! ”
