"All hotels in the area appear dated, that’s not our issue. We expected that. Our two room “suite” was so dirty the carpet turned our granddaughter's feet black within minutes. The tv’s didn’t work consistently, the toilet was loose, the bathroom tile was cracked in multiple places, under the bed and tables appeared to not have been cleaned in YEARS, the trim around the main door frame had been shattered and painted over. My son dropped his phone and found world record sized dust bunnies, dirty socks/underwear and other unmentionable things. The best part of breakfast was the dry cereal and orange juice. We are extremely gracious travelers, and I don’t normally leave bad reviews….but this was extreme to pay $1100 for 3 nights and have a sliver of a glimpse of the Lake (lake view) between buildings and then have these circumstances is ridiculous. "

"Arrived about 5 hours early before check-in. Even with the craziness of the holiday weekend, they were able to get me checked in 3 hours earlier than anticipated. Room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Hotel was located close to downtown St. Ignace, and had quick access to the bridge. Which allowed us to beat a lot of the traffic going back south. Breakfast was great, service was great, we will definitely be back!"

"The building was old, but we can see the staff trying to keep the property clean. Bed linens are fresh and clean. Receptionist was nice. We had some trouble with the TV, but the repair man and receptionist came and fixed TV immediately. The Cleaning staff missed checking refrigerator of the former guest food. I suggest replacing toilet seat because it was damaged and looked bad."

"We stayed on 4th of July weekend, perfect place for watching fireworks since the hotel has it’s own small beach where we sat outside and enjoyed the fire works and went back right to our rooms.. how convenient… would come back "
