Birthday/Christmas trip
Over all the property was fine, nothing great. We did not go to Pigeon Forge to stay in a cabin all the time so we got what we were looking for. It could have been cleaner, the bath tub drained slow, the toilet handle felt like it would fall off at any moment. There was only one wine glass. Just some simple fixes could make the property nicer, but non of the things made for a bad experience.

Good location
We landed here as our normal condo was sold last year and is no longer rented. So we are trying to find a new home away from home. The cabin is in a good location. Close to town. Not a busy street. The inside of the cabin was fairly updated. I saw several reviews about the TV, however it worked. With that being said, we were afraid to use the back porch. There’s a broken and busted hot tub (not in listing) to the side and 2 broken chairs. The floor of the porch felt weak and was clearly rotten. There were dead vines all over the outside of the cabin. When we were walking around, we found an empty bag of Hawaiian rolls, several long glue on nails and solo cups, all right off the front porch, in easy view. The chairs on the front porch are always worn. The entire outside needs a good scrubbing. The couches were scraped up and coffee table chew up. I blame that one reckless pet parents, however the cabin should look into fixing that. The tub had mildew at every seam. Will we stay here again? Probably not. Did it do the job? Yes.

Frustrating
Property was clean and check-in easy. We quickly discovered that the TV and internet was not working. We had MANY phone calls, texts, emails from staff, but never any resolution. After 2 days, we decided to cut our trip short a day early. They did refund the last night and some extra back due to loss of amenities.

The cabin is very nice, parking tight and the compost waste sight nearby, would smell frequently.
The cabin is very nice and well equipped. We arrived with Some of the front window blind damaged and used a towel the whole time we were there, the shower head broke and was replaced, staff very nice on the phone with issues we had. Would rent again but probably a different area.

Not satisfied
It was not very clean. It looked like it hadn’t been looked at in a while. It was dusty and the floor was mopped with dirty water. The back deck was small and looked like the bannister would fall off if you leaned on it.

Birthday weekend
The location of the property was nice and close to everything In pigeon forge. The cabin itself looks bigger than it is in the photos. The back porch is very rickety and as a bigger person I did not feel comfortable walking out there when my fiancé who is very much smaller than me was shaking the porch and making boards move and it clearly looked like it was rotting. The cable did not work and the remote batteries were dead so we had to go buy more batteries and it still did not work at all. The hot tub is on the back deck but it does not work at all and looked terribly dirty. The emails said there was cable and said the hot tub was cleaned. The shower/tub is very small as well. The floor in the bedroom and bathroom area has spots that are uneven as well. Luckily it was a short birthday trip so we were not at the cabin a lot. I would not visit this cabin again.

Very expensive basic lodging
This cabin has many basic amenities that you would need such as kitchen cookware, extra blankets, washer/dryer, etc. My husband, dog, and I stayed here for four nights during Christmas week. Our stay was below average. We knew the hot tub did not work based on past reviews and it is not listed as an amenity, but it does just sit on the back deck empty, non functional, and takes up a lot of space. Vaasa does email saying it’s been cleaned and filled before visiting for your stay, but it must be a generic message that is not modified for this specific cabin. We did smell a strong odor of urine in the cabin, that we could not find for two days, which was disappointing given the cleaning fee. We found the source on the curtains near the patio door and one of the pillows on the bed. I called Vacasa and they said they would “write a note about it”. Luckily, it was easy for me to throw the curtains into the washing machine to get rid of the urine smell and I threw the urine pillow in the closet. A woman came by a few hours later unannounced to bring us two new pillows and pillowcases and she took the urine pillow with her. The couch has a pull out sofa that I laid on for 10 minutes because I struggled sleeping in the bed with all the lights on near the tv. The pull out bed needs to be thrown away and replaced. The springs dug into my ribs and felt super uncomfortable. I decided to turn off the electronics near the actual bed to sleep there. The parking was a struggle for a 4 door Toyota Tundra, but we made it work. The light outside did not work so I had to use my phone light to guide my dog outside for bathroom breaks in the dark. I took a light bulb from the bed lamp side and placed it outside for us to safely walk in front of the cabin with our dog. The ac is very noisy and could not self regulate properly. We left it on “econ | 70 | auto” and we would go to bed hot and wake up in the middle of the night freezing cold. It was about 63-67 outside during our stay. It was colder inside than outside. We do not recommend and wouldn’t use this location or cabin for a romantic getaway in the future. Looking back, it would have been more comfortable and less expensive for us to stay in a hotel room.

Unexpected visitor
This was our first time renting a cabin. We had a pleasant stay. Location was in a short distance for shopping and entertainment. We had an unexpected visitor on our third night. I placed garbage in the can outside on the front deck earlier in the day and a bear couldn't resist. Heard a noise later that night. I opened the door and caught him about to tear into the garbage. He was as startled as I was. I didn't think about inviting a bear on our vacation. Lol. It was a pleasant surprise and also a little frightening. All was good though.

Overall very good
Overall a very welcoming place even though somewhat dated. Hot tub not serviced, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Inside I have no negative comments, only positive. Only issue outside was the proximity of the waste management plant, which due to the wind patterns these days, caused a faint trash smell. Overall a very good experience. I would book again.

Misleading
It was a nice stay. I was rubbed the wrong way because I felt I was mislead then lied to about the hot tub. Prior to arrival I was sent an email stating hot tub was cleaned and filled for my stay. When i arrived hot tub had pieces inside it and was not filled. Cover had dust on it which let me know it hadnt been used in a while. I called and was told last guest broke it. But if that was the case why was I sent email? It was clear by looking at hot tub it hadnt been used in a while. This could have been told to me ahead of time.

Enjoyed this cozy little cabin in a quiet remote setting. Cabin was very clean and private. Just what my wife and I ,along with out 2 dogs needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the R&R that we experienced here. Was disappointed the hot tube wasn't working but it wasn't a big deal. Thanks to the staff for making checking in easy, thanks to cleaning crew for a spotless thorough cleaning and Thanks to anyone else involved with cabin rentals. Overall, a great stay!
Overall, we had a great over night stay. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was really nice too, however, the water wasn’t warm until the next morning, and we were only there one night. So, we only got to use it the next morning. The roof is leaking, and I think needs attention. The ceiling was wet and had a drip. The only other thing I’d complain on was the loose toilet seat. Other than those things, we had a nice time at the cabin.

Great small getaway
This is a great one bedroom place for a couple or small family with the pull out sofa for a little getaway. The hot tub was fantastic on the cold nights and the tv with the cable and added Netflix aloud us to relax before bed. We were also able to bring food and cook breakfast and dinner with the full kitchen. It does have a fireplace which was nice but my only complaint was the heat in the cabin did not heat the whole place. The bathroom was cold all the time. Our overall stay was great though and it had everything we needed.
