Our family has 3 acres of land in Central Jersey, big house and land in West Virginia, but Steve’s Lake house has a special place in our hearts. Despite trying other lakefront rentals in Poconos we return to this house every year since 2018. The house is well-maintained, it is evident that Steve had put considerable thought into every detail, making guests stay both comfortable and enjoyable, we even received a message from host that the house is ready and we can check in 8 hours early :) The convenience and accessibility of the amenities surpassed expectations. The fully equipped kitchen allows to prepare delicious meals while enjoying the picturesque view. Bedrooms are cozy and provided with a restful sleep after exciting days of exploring the lake and its surroundings. The highlight of the stay is undoubtedly the lake itself. The private dock offered endless opportunities for boating and fishing. Our grandson were enthralled by the countless adventures while discovering the natural wonders surrounding the property.

Excellent Stay!
The house is very clean and well kept. The updated bathrooms and kitchen are beautiful. The view to the lake is unreal!! The private lake access, beach area and kayaks and boats were the highlight! We had a magical time and regret not staying longer. Like the other reviews mentioned the mattresses are very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Feel like sleeping on a pull out couch.... we hope the owner will update those, and then we'd love to visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of room in the house and the private lake access was really nice. The house was also well stocked and very clean. The only part that bothered us were the beds-they were a little too hard for our liking. Other than that, we loved it!

We all had a great time away from work And school for spring break. Property was just as it is described and my dog absolutely loved being able to explore and swim in the lake out back. The only issue I had was we were unaware there were forms that needed to be filled out for the cars prior to arriving and that we needed to pay a $5.00 fee per car, which is well and fine it’s just I had none of my friends car information which made things hectic and difficult when I went to check in. Plus the place had no idea we were even coming. The property was very clean and well maintained, Other then that we had an awesome time and will most like be back- truly a beautiful place.

The location was fantastic, we loved the dock and lake and deck. The beach area was in need of attention and the furniture isn’t super great quality. The beds (all of them) were extremely uncomfortable, so hard. The property owner NEEDS to address the beds. Not one person slept well while we were there. Also, no AC in upper level, that was unpleasant on warm days. Otherwise though, it was a perfect spot and the house is beautiful.

A relaxing getaway!
Our family stayed here over Father's Day weekend. The large window in the living room allowed us to look at the water and watch the sunset right from the couch. It was gorgeous! The water is steps away from the back door and there's a small private "beach" and dock to enjoy the beautiful views. The house can use some updating but overall it is an amazing place. Thank you so much Steve!

Property was in really good shape. Very clean when we checked in. Had all the necessities. The beach area by the lake was great. The only recommendation I would have is to reinforce the dock a bit. The decking has quite a bit of bend it is near the shore line. Absolutely plan on staying here again!

Perfect retreat to get away with the family. 5 star on everything at this house. Kitchen had everything we needed! Loved the steam shower in the master bath! Loved the two person hammock in the gazebo and beautiful lights. The path to the lake glowed every night, leading me to perfect quite, watching the stars reflect on the lake. The beds were a perfect firm for us. We brought our kayaks and SUP board to enjoy the lake. The house had a nice canoe too. Everything was absolutely perfect. Thank You!!!!!
