"I booked this property last minute and for a quick mini getaway with my family. The plan was to visit Sequoia National Forest which was a quick 45 min drive from the hotel. Initially we wanted to go to Sequoia National Park, but learned that dogs are not allowed on any trails. The property is across the kern river and surrounded by breathtaking mountains. I loved that they are pet-friendly and that a kitchenette was available. They also have grills outside. My favorite part was sitting outside during sunset hours. Also, the kern river is across the street from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Cabin is close to the Sequoia National Forest Trail of 100 Giants. The cabin is at around 7000 feet. The drive in is slow with winding switch backs. Our family enjoyed playing pool at the cabin."

"We loved our stay; as the kids said, it was “better than ice cream”! Cozy and pretty, with beautiful trees and views. Redwoods right outside your door! We had campfire nights with s’mores, dinners on the patio, and slept great in the mountain air. I really loved the primary bedroom and our girls loved the bunk beds (and toy area). "
