This is a brand new property and very clean. We had a larger suite with the small pull out sofa. Overall we are a family of five and I always notice the size of a room and this one was on the larger size. If you have younger children they would have room to play on the floor. The breakfast was typical but stocked, clean, and decent. My teens ate without complaints. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We left a piece of jewelry behind, realized it about an hour later and called and...

All I can tell you, I will stay here any and every time I’m in Charlottesville. I’ve stayed here three times in less than a year (first time was during its first week open) and each time is fantastic. The front desk staff are great and I LOVE the bartenders (Eric, Douglas, and Cicely (sp?).
Until next time!

In all honesty, the room seemed a little dusty, but it was quite well equipped. A vanity area just outside the bathroom had its own sink, which was convenient for us as a couple trying to get thru our morning ablutions & get out to tour about. The pool and the tiled outside seating area were rather elaborate, although (not being aa fan of chlorinated water) we did not avail ourselves of it. Parking was just a little distant, due to tenant volume, but the area seemed very quiet & safe, & ample...

The suites( they are more than rooms) are marvelous. Quiet, great views and one of the most comfortable beds ever. The bathroom was also very nice, and the floor is heated. Couple that with butlered coffee and beignets each morning, and you’vr Got s high standard to beat

Casey is a remarkable host, delivering with her family, a very high quality experience! No amenity was overlooked. The property is in excellent condition; the grounds and setting, interesting and historical; the breakfast scrumptious and memorable; and the nearby downtown city of Orange afforded very good restaurant access. Simply, the best B & B experience we have had the pleasure to enjoy, thanks to Casey's and fam's effort!

The best area to stay in Quinque is the Historic Downtown, which offers the most upscale accommodations and convenient access to local attractions.
Historic Downtown is the heart of Quinque, characterized by its beautifully preserved 19th-century architecture and tree-lined streets. This area is very walkable, with many shops, art galleries, and restaurants concentrated along Main Street and Market Street. The Quinque Riverwalk also borders this district, providing pleasant strolls along the water.
Couples often find Historic Downtown ideal for a romantic getaway. The area boasts several boutique hotels known for their personalized service and elegant rooms, some with river views. Evenings can be spent enjoying fine dining, attending a show at the historic Quinque Theater on Main Street, or simply enjoying a quiet drink at one of the sophisticated lounges.
For solo travelers seeking a sophisticated and convenient base, Historic Downtown is also an excellent choice. Its central location makes it easy to explore on foot, and many hotels offer amenities like high-end fitness equipment and concierge services, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free stay.
When is the best time to go to Quinque?
The best time to go to Quinque is during the spring (April to May) and fall (September to October) when the weather is mild and pleasant, and the natural scenery is at its most appealing.
For travelers who enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and exploring vineyards, spring offers blooming landscapes and comfortable temperatures, while fall provides stunning foliage and ideal conditions for scenic drives. These seasons avoid the higher humidity and heat of summer and the colder temperatures of winter.
Couples looking for a romantic getaway will particularly appreciate the beauty of Quinque during these shoulder seasons. The vineyards are either budding with new growth or vibrant with autumn colors, offering picturesque backdrops for wine tastings and leisurely strolls.
