“This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.”

“This was our favorite accommodation during our long trip in Italy. The breakfast was amazing, and it was such a shame we didn’t have enough time to enjoy it properly due to our schedule. The kind staff even packed us some coffee and water for the road, which was so thoughtful and touching. “We had a great time for two nights at this beautiful property with really friendly staff. The spacious apartment and the nature around the property as well as the proximity to Montalcino were perfect for a relaxing time. The little winery was excellent and the wine tasted really good. “Amazing personnel always taking great care of you, the place is 20 min. Drive from Montalcino, has well maintained pool, breakfast very good, laundry available and restaurant in site. Self-parking area. Great location if you want to disconnect and enjoy breathtaking views of the Tuscany area.”

“Very special hotel with nice hot spring pools, sauna, etc. The staff is super helpful and the installations nicer than the pictures. Their breakfast (which was included) and food is delicious! “Good hotel. If you drive to there based on Google Map, you better follow the main road instead of a muddy road recommend by Google. The hotel is near the old town (so as ZTL!) and just a 5 minutes walk. Montalcino old town get a lot of places to taste wine. Don't miss it!”

“Peaceful, Relaxing Stay in Tuscany We had a great experience here. The setting is quiet and secluded—felt like a true escape from everyday life. The golf was excellent, the food was consistently good, and the service was friendly and professional. It is remote, which adds to the charm, but just a heads-up: if you need anything like Advil or small essentials, the nearest town is about 20 minutes away on a dirt road. Overall, everything was well done. We’d absolutely come back.”

“The room is big and the city is lovely. but it's really really troublesome to park the car due to the hotel is located in ZTL zone. You have to park your car somewhere outside of the old town, and walk to the hotel to figure out how to park, then get a green card from the reception to display it on your windshield to avoid being fined by the police when drive in to unload the luggage, then drive out of the old town to find a parking space, then walk back to the hotel (6-8 mins walk).
