They put me in a room with no microwave and blew it off like oh well the person that stayed in the room before you must have stolen it. There wasn't any blankets and the remote controls didn't work.

Mold smell, intruders, weekly house keeping

Posted Jun 23, 2016 on Hotels
We stayed a week. The hall ways smelled and the idea that the rooms get only cleaned once a week was odd. On the first morning a painter wanted to paint our door and leave it open for several hours. We were moved into a different room, which gave us horrible allergic reactions (The door wasn't painted until we moved out). We had ordered an air purifier to the hotel anyway to take home with us, so thought, this is a good way to test the machine. But we continued to have allergic reactions, so we switched rooms again. That room was also giving us reaction. The whole hotel has an odor problem which they try to cover with tons of room freshener in the hall ways and rooms. After midnight in the third room the door opened suddenly shortly after midnight while we were asleep. I thought of a robbery and jumped out of the bed and against the door (luckily we had used the security block). It turned out it was a hotel night staff who thought the room was vacant and wanted to take a nap (would anybody have changed the sheets after that nap if the room had been vacant and already cleaned?). Pros: Lots of free parking, free laundry room with 4 washers and 4 dryers, Good breakfast restaurants, nice nature parks near by, Cons: The building seems to be water damaged with lots of mold and other odors, only once a week housekeeping

A bit depressing.

Meh. The Candlewood Suites is cheap and the staff is nice and seems conscientious, but the room is rundown (but clean) and not great to work in. In retrospect, I would have preferred to pay a bit more for the nearby Residence Inn.

정말 훌륭한 호텔

Posted May 15, 2016

The staff was great, rooms were clean, property was quite. I had a lot going on with father's death and they embraced my issues and made my stay comfortable and safe.... ..kudos to Paige, Robin, Shelia, Tara, Cam, Andre, just to name a few staff members.

Can't say enough about the staff. Maybe the entire state of NC during our 9-day trip. Beautiful environment and the warmest, friendliest people!

We had an emergency overnighter and stayed at the Candlewood. The staff was amazingly friendly. Check in and out was a breeze. The building itself has some stains but overall the place was safe and comfortable.

grate location near everything you could want. The only complaint I have is that the smoking area is to close to the front entrance.
