"Upon arriving, the front desk was very pleasant. They all, over the course of our stay,acted like it was truly their pleasure to wait on us and not just their job. The room was clean and I loved the shower instead of bathtub in the bathroom. The location to MUSC was perfect. Will definitely recommend to anyone that has to spend time at MUSC."

"The room was very clean. Kelli at the front desk was Great. She was very helpful with where to eat and what to do, a real genuine people person, as was Rachael at the bar. She is the sweetest young woman and also suggested a trip to Folly Beach. There was plenty of parking. The gym looked well maintained, but we never went in. As for the pool, it was murky and did not look too inviting, so we steered clear of it. It also would have been nice to have a large container of fresh, ice water with a spigot to self-serve available in the lobby for guests without having to pay $2.00 for a bottle of water."

"The room was very clean however VERY small. Very good location for walking. Hymans seafood restaurant which is an excellent restaurant was only a block away and well worth going to ."

"I had a wonderful stay at The Charleston Place. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and very clean, with fresh flowers and beautiful greenery throughout the property that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location is excellent, right in the heart of historic Charleston, making it very convenient to explore the city on foot. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, and always made us feel welcome. I also loved the beautiful lobby and the overall attention to detail throughout the hotel. It was a lovely experience, and I would happily stay here again."
