“MERIBEL 12/25/24- We MOST HEARTILY RECOMMEND a stay at Résidence Pierre & Vacances Les Ravines, in the district of “Les Allues” but do not be confused, this is in the very heart of Meribel, not the village of Les Allues!!! “I travelled to the Tourotel expecting the worst given a lot of the reviews, and was pleasantly surprised and can only suggest those giving such poor reviews haven't stayed in ski accommodation before or hadn't looked at any of the photos. Yes it's basic (as are most ski accommodations), but they are well equipped (I've attached the inventory of the 2 bed apartment), and the mountain facing balcony rooms have the best view of any accommodation I've stayed in the alps. “First class hotel and standard of accommodation, in keeping with the CGH brand of residence. Location a little out of town, but close by the bus stop and regular village shuttle bus. Possible to ski directly back to the hotel, however to access the slopes in the morning, approximate 500m uphill walk, which may be an issue with young children/elderly. “Nous avons été très bien accueillis par l’équipe de l’hébergement qui était très sympathique et disponible. L’hébergement était très bien placé avec une super vue et très confortable. Pour le retour, la caution est rendu immédiatement après un état des lieux ce qui est plutôt rare et appréciable. Je recommande vivement cet établissement.”
