“The private setting on the lake is beautiful. Great view. Very peaceful. Everything worked fine - tvs, air conditioner, oven, dishwasher, plumbing, ect. The only drawback is something the owner could easily fix - the place needs a good cleaning. For example, the refrigerator was dirty, several of the pots and pans had food still stuck on them, there were lots of cobwebs and spiderwebs with dead bugs, the walls and windows need wiping and cleaning. “Where do we begin! The Upper Rideau bnb is by far one of the best bnb’s we’ve had the pleasure to experience. From the moment we stepped inside and were greeted by Donna we were treated like royalty. The room was immaculate and we had our own ensuite that included a large jacuzzi bath ( which we used to soak our tired muscles from two days of kayaking). The breakfast was a chef’s dream with wonderful baked goodies and daily full hot meals of eggs, bacon, fruit and toast. Absolutely,……
