"Check-in time is at 3 and we arrived at 4:10. We were told someone paid for a late check-out and checked out at 4. The woman at the desk told me check-in is at 4 and the room wouldn’t be ready for 30 min. So, she lied about check-in time. Basically, they decided to make more money and screw us over. We were offered a smaller room but not the one we paid for. We were on a schedule as this was a road trip. We came back at 630 and the room was ready. The room is fine for a couple but not a family. We have a 16 year daughter and 12 year old son. The toilet is behind a barn door providing very little privacy. The shower is out in the open. You can’t see through the bottom of the glass. Again, very little privacy. Let’s get to the parking. There’s a parking lot next door that the woman who lied about the check-in time advised it was $35 to park or $38 to valet. We noticed the sign at the parking lot says $12 a day. I asked prior to paying the hotel and she said we can pay either now we know the real price. We could pay the hotel or the lot. They are thieves and con artists. The hotel is clean. I would never stay again. They’re a bunch of thieves. Took my money and sold part of my room time to someone else. They attempted to take more money the didn’t deserve with the parking lot. Unless, you feel like making eye contact with your teen children while you shower I’d suggest picking another place to stay. "

"The staff was lovely. My room for the most part was clean however, the housekeeping staff missed a couple of empty bottles under one of bedside tables. There was also a pill under the bench. The breakfast buffet was cold, I did not have enough time to order from their fresh breakfast options. "

"Clean and modern room in a historical St Louis hotel. It’s been well maintained and remodeled and is in a great area near downtown. Nice touch for the GM to text daily and check on our stay!"

"Kevin at the front desk was kind, courteous and most friendly— super nice and accommodating young fellow. Also, Liz, who works her rear end off at the morning breakfast is amazing— worth a good tip every day. Super disappointed, however, in the breakfast—NO fault of Liz or her crew that works for breakfast. Have been going to this hotel at least once a year for many years now. They always have various college, possibly high school teams in the Hotel. This year, the teams seem to be less courteous and have to wonder how their rooms look when they left. They would come to the breakfast and devour simply everything. As an example this morning, I was there before 8 AM and basically all that was left with scrambled eggs and some sausage links. No fruit, no milk for cereal no oatmeal no bagels or pastries and even all the juices were empty. Several people in my party did not have breakfast included with the room and I paid an extra $20 a day to get nothing to eat. Several people that came after 8 AM were very upset and I feel Hilton will lose customers over having these teams in House. Wondering if these teams are more stable than the average paying customer. Also in the room itself I feel the bathroom desperately needs some updating. Old-fashioned very low toilets and the caulking in my shower around the toilet was not only unsightly, but I wondered how clean. Also, the bed in the room I was in with dreadful. very disappointed in our trip there this time. "

"The day I arrived I clearly showed I rented 2 separate rooms. Manager couldnt hlep me fix issue. I called hotel.com to fix problem. The agent kept calling front desk and they wouldnt answer. I tried to put the manager on the phone from my cell but manager denied. And told the agent to call the front desk. But hell they wouldnt answer it. I went to sit in the car till the agent finally spoke to them. Took 1 1/2 to resolve. Room had a big hole in the bed skirt. The bathroom shower knob pulls off. Shower handle didnt work. They came to clean room took all the towels and didnt replace. Worst experience I have ever had. Next time ill go down the road and pay them $788.00."
