"There is a significant issue with the front desk staff's customer service and consistency. Throughout our stay, they seemed entirely unwelcoming, and their default response to any basic request was a flat "no." We were traveling with friends and had multiple rooms booked for our daughters' dance competition. The evening staff member who checked us in was genuinely understanding and kindly allowed us to use the media room for a quick practice. However, when we went back the next day to use it for just 30 minutes, a different employee flatly denied us, stating the previous staff should never have allowed it. This contradiction continued with basic amenities. The room pillows were horribly small, but when we asked for standard, wider ones, the daytime staff claimed the hotel didn't carry them. Yet, during check-in, I witnessed the friendlier evening staff member offer wider pillows to another guest right in front of me. Finally, we requested a modest 30-minute late checkout. The staff member refused to even listen, claiming rooms had to be cleaned immediately. However, when we departed, not a single room on our floor had even begun to be cleaned. The front desk staff desperately needs better hospitality training. Even if a request cannot be met, they should know how to speak to guests respectfully. Management needs to train them properly before putting them on the desk."
