"Hotel seemed like its unfinished, way too minimalist, especially bathrooms. Not even a towel hanger anywhere."

"This hotel was amazing. The location was superb, the room was beautiful. We walked around Old Montreal at night and caught in many of the popular locations all with a 10-20 minute's walk. Would recommend for those interested in being in the downtown area. Dog Friendly, but no lawn areas. Secure Parkade with large spots, lower roof thou. Thanks for everything!"

"We were very pleased with our stay. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, location was perfect. Other than being a bit dated, particularly the carpets and couches, it was great. We will go back for sure!"

The Cove Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Our apartment was a great price, for what we got. It wasn't luxurious but well equipped and larger than I expected. We also loved the vibrant, multicultural, neighborhood. We are helping a friend move across the country so we had a lot of stuff. The woman working the night shift was really helpful and helped us carry in our stuff. She was very friendly, I felt like she went above and beyond. Also, the little apartment had a bonus laundry room where we could stash our boxes."

Hotel Faubourg Montreal

Hotel Faubourg Montreal

8/10 Good
"Let’s start with the good. The hotel has underground parking which is super easy and reasonable if you get the Expedia discount. The room was quite large and the beds comfortable. The kitchenette is great and makes it easy to bring food or order in. The staff is very friendly and check in and out was easy. The hotel is conveniently located near Chinatown for cheap eats and only a couple of blocks from St Laurent metro. It’s also a very quite hotel. I couldn’t hear my neighbors. On the negative side. The room is badly in need of a refresh. The laminate is peeling off, our window handle was snapped off, the bathroom tiles are cracked. The carpets aren’t the cleanest looking. Our bedside lamp only turned off or on by plugging it in. The switch was broken. It’s a shame because the room is quite large. It appears at one point in the history of the hotel it was built for long term stays since the kitchenette has many cabinets and even a dishwasher. My biggest complaint though is why have a kitchen with no utensils, plates, bowls, or glasses. You can ask for them, but they give you wooden utensils and paper products. I felt like I was in a mental hospital and couldn’t be trusted with sharp objects. At least the sheets and towels were clean as was the bathroom. They could do a better job dusting, especially the dressers and desk. Overall for the price it’s not bad. I would stay there again."
