"This is one of my all time favourite hotels. A hotel with impeccable and friendly service be it the chamber maid, the breakfast waitresses, or the concierge. The building itself is beautiful inside and full of character due to its age. The beds are comfortable (firm), breakfast is wonderful - incredibly diverse unlimited buffet - fresh fruit, full English, cheeses and cold meats, breads of many sorts, make your own pancakes, squeeze your own orange juice, croissants, cake, the list just goes on and on. The location is also fabulous. Highly highly recommend, I've already had several visits and intend to go back."

"This was the most amazing boutique hotel we found on this site. The service before arriving was amazing with messages from staff like Marta and Aziz offering help with transportation. They helped coordinate service from the airport at 11 pm to help us feel safe arriving. We didn’t know what to expect but the proximity of the hotel to the Piazza San Marco is only one of the bonuses. The hotel is fully renovated and the photos do not do it justice. They offered to turn on our towel warmer for us and the room was spacious and offered a wonderful set up for coffee and yogurt in the fridge. The amount of small details they tended to on the upgrades were greatly appreciated like plenty of lighting options and comfort in the bedding. In addition the metal banisters and beautiful glass vases and the rooms with their ample space tall windows and dries and beams on the ceiling were beautiful. There is an excellent cafe in the lobby that is not only perfect for guests but seems to be a favorite of the locals. Fresh breads pastries on with sandwiches chocolates and cocktails are great for any time of day! Marta and Aziz were wonderful in helping us with all our questions and ensuring our stay was perfect. "

"Beautiful boutique hotel located right on the canal. Suites overlook the canal with a balcony which is incredible day or night. The staff is incredibly welcoming as soon as you enter the lobby. Rooms are super cute and the complimentary bottle of champagne was the the perfect touch. Great location for all the walking to San Marco square, shopping, and many dining options close by. I will definitely be staying here again! The hotel bar makes the BEST manhattan I have ever had. Highly recommend. "
