“Not like other hotels in SO many good ways:
- Greeted by Ursula like we were long lost family.
- She brought in her son Lorenzo to check us in because he’s awesome.
- This is a guest house, not a hotel. We had the full run of the fully stocked kitchen 24/7.
- According to Lorenzo, whatever we wanted anytime was “OK”. And it was. Except that it was actually great.
- Right outside our window was the ruins of the Area Sacra di Largo Argentina. Yes, the actual site of Julius Caesar’s murder.……

“Great, friendly and extremely helpful staff. Clean, modern room and fresh breakfast each morning. Only thing to be aware of is you may have to carry your luggage a block due to no cars being allowed in the area where the hotel is. But everything else more than made up for that minor inconvenience, especially since it means the area is quieter and less busy than the rest of Rome, which was a big plus. I would recommend this place to anyone who comes to Rome.”

“Walkable to many tourist spots with a cafe 1 meter from the front door. The dome ceiling in one of the bedrooms was reminiscent of Ancient Rome, unfortunately so was the door going into it (under 6-foot clearance and I’m over 6’ tall!) 😂
This is an apartment with no staff on-hand, but they are immediately available via WhatsApp. Only inconvenience was storing luggage 20 minutes away without a courtesy vehicle to bring it.
