"Nice hotel but stressful pool and transport "
The hotel itself is conformable and the staff friendly but it is a long way put from town and the shuttle ends very early at seven. Bus and metro are stressful. The pool is overcrowded and people book .loungers all day as itt is unsupervised

"Nice hotel in good area."
Amazing hotel in used to be monastery. Quiet atmosphere, good breakfast, nice service, good restaurants on walking distance, even has nice church on premises The only one problem was to find it. It's located on hill road and is not seen on down hill direction. I would suggest them to put big signs on both sides of entry gates.

Piazza Ippolito Nievo 25-27, Rome 00153 - Map
"Excellent Hotel Near Trastevere"
We stayed at the Trilussa Palace and Spa for 6 nights with our daughter 13 years old and son10 years old. Buses in front can connect you to central part of Rome quickly. The Trastevere neighbourhood is a very popular destination for tourists and within walking distance to restaurants, bars & plazas.. The staff at the hotel are friendly and service at the hotel is excellent from check-in to check-out, they took care of us and helped out with travel direction etc. The rooms are clean and comfortable, my only issue is that the shower is very compact and has massage jets, however, you can hardly move when you are in the shower to even put soap or shampoo. I really got claustrophobic. The design of the shower is complicated and hard to operate. We used their spa room which offers self serve access various rooms such as Jacuzzi, Sauna, Mint Shower, and another type of shower. They provide Champaign, fruits and drinks as well for the cost. It is worth a one hour spa for 50 euros for 2 kids and 2 adults. Hotel had breakfast included with scrambled eggs, bacon and some sausage. They also made pancakes and had croissants and other continental breakfast items. Freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee were provided. You can catch a bus across the street and arrive at Piazza Venezia within 10 minutes or walk for about 20 plus minutes to Piazza Venezia. It is walking distance from mini marts that carry fresh fruit, alcohol, juices and snacks.

Pocket Guide: Rome Trastevere 4 stars Hotels

Across the River Tiber, Trastevere is a well-established 'boho chic' quarter, full of local character. The patchwork of tiny, cobbled streets houses many bars, good restaurants and buzzing nightlife spots. There is also a treasure trove of medieval churches. In its own piazza, the beautiful Santa Maria in Trastevere has shimmering golden mosaics and was probably Rome's first Christian basilica, founded in 222 AD.
