The room was gorgeous and check in was very simple. Even though I know the sheets and towels were clean, the lampshades hadn’t been dusted in a very long time.

Loved this little gem - cute room, nice amenities, fun & lively bar/restaurant. The only warning I would provide is that if you are an early to bed person or noise sensitive, you may want to use a sound machine. We were fine going to bed at 11 and used to loud sounds of NYC, but others may have a hard time. We will come again!

I stayed on the weekend. I did not realize it is such a party atmosphere in the attached bar/restaurant and surrounding grounds. Extremely busy and noisy. Only three parking slots for guests. They were filled with restaurants guests. All surrounding parking lots were full. Had to walk a long distance through large crowd of people to get to room. Felt a little unsafe . Outside band each night reverberated into room. Could not control air conditioning. Very chilly. Room was small. Door hit the bed when you open it. No desk to work at. Lighting in bedroom was so dim I had to use flashlight to read. There was a fingernail on the floor by the door that remained the thee night stay. Bathroom shade on window was see through. Hung a towel for more privacy.The staff at the restaurant were extremely kind. Restaurant food was excellent.

There is a restaurant onsite that had delucious food,as well as onsite live entertainment. We came for the Belmont Stakes and it was approx 20 mins to the track via Uber. It is a beautiful location at the beach and very quiet. There is no on-site concierge which is why a Good rating but otherwise I recommend this place. It is cozy and although not overly large it is restful. The staff of the restaurant were auper nicenand helpful. The food is fantastic ( lobster roll was delicious).

Clean and charming hotel with very convenient checking in and out system. Noise from adjacent road and restaurant lower floor may bother sensitive traveler. Food and the service at the restaurant is excellent!

I had a nice stay at The Nest tis weekend. I have stayed there before and love the location while visiting my son at Skidmore. It is a nice drive along the lake to Saratoga. I liked staying on the top floor better than the first floor. The staff was great but it was very quiet during the day. The mattress was so comfortable too. I have not eaten at the restaurant but the food looked good. On Friday night they had a great band (Pasta and Potatoes) so that was an unexpected treat to come home to. The band played until about 9:30. The bar staff were so friendly and welcoming. I definitely will make this my regular stay when visiting my son.
