The property was built in 1964 and definitely has that mid-century look and style. The staff were very friendly, the room spacious and clean, the doughnuts and coffee delicious. Added bonus were the RC colas and mini MoonPies! If you want fancy this place may not be for you, but if you want nostalgia in a great location stay here!

It's a very nice retro-themed hotel. Street noise can be a little much for some people I'm sure, but didn't bother me at all. Rooms have everything you'll need. Would go back again for sure.

Rooms are in disrepair, card keys routinely fail, rooms no longer offer cable TV. Only offer the ability to cast to TV from personal devices, primarily from big streaming services. Internet is spotty, so even that doesn’t work well. Used to be a relatively nice, affordable stay, but things have declined dramatically. Staff was as helpful as they could be, given the circumstances.

It is a great place. Showers are small but the beds are so comfortable. Staff was wonderful. The check in was great and in the morning g they have the best donuts! It was great to stay in a place that was quiet and comfortable. Loved the old time feeling.

this place was just what we needed and it was even better than advertised! the property was extremely dog friendly- they had a dog park and dog treats everywhere and other pets staying. they also had a free breakfast every morning that included fresh donuts from a local bakery. also very close to river street, just a 15 minute walk.
