"Overall a good stay. The room was clean, the parking was easy and it was relatively close to the I-5 freeway (sort of). The breakfast was mediocre at best but it was free so I can’t complain too much. Bacon would have been better than the sausage patties that gave me a stomach ache later. But it was just a pit stop on our way to So Cal and it was fine for that purpose."

"We arrived after a long day of driving, and the staff at the front desk were so friendly and helpful, especially Cheyenne. We had enough time to put our baggage in our room and go to the bar restaurant for a late supper, which was very satisfying! The hotel itself is quite beautiful and old. Our room was clean and modern and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. And the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! It was so comfortable. If you’re staying in Bakersfield, this is the place to be."

"Check in was a breeze. We stay here all the time when visiting Bakersfield. It's quiet. No freeway noise. Safe property. Rooms are predictably perfect every time. I love the shower body wash shampoo and conditioner. Crabtree and Evelyn. Even body lotion. Magnifying mirror. Never disappoints"
