"They advertised a pool that doesn’t exist despite it being in the photos. Do not book this place if you’re expecting a pool. They admitted fault and said they’d give us a $50 refund, but not a full refund - despite there being nowhere else to stay at short notice, and others having complained about this for over a year. Terrible and misleading"

"The unit was clean and spacious. A few things, the third bedroom should be listed as a loft. Also, maybe extra batteries, could not use the TV due to lack of batteries. Everything else was great. Host was wonderful when my husband left something and we were able to go back & get it 2 weeks later."

This is a beautiful property, it is like staying in a historical mansion. We stayed in a king suite and the room was huge and very nice. Continental breakfast was simple and sufficient, great experience overall. We had an emergency situation at home (12 hrs away) and the manager was extremely helpful in working with us so that we could leave a day early. Would definitely recommend this hotel…close to Skeaneatles and the lake.

The hotel is updated, modern very clean. Our room was specious, but lacked a few comforts that most hotels offer such as a coffee maker and comfortable chairs to use while relaxing in the room. The room was more than big enough to add a couch or comfortable chair. All they have is a metal uncomfortable office style seat. No coffee in the room or microwave which for me brings my rating down. I do not want to have to get dressed and make my way to the lobby for my first cup of coffee! Staff...

Very clean. Great front desk service. You can tell it's the type of roadside motel that prides itself on cleanliness and comfort. When in season: There's outside chairs everywhere, front and back. And if it's nice out, definitely look behind the motel. Nice, wide open space w/chairs and room to run/roam. I was in room 1 and noticed there was also adjoining rooms available which is a nice plus if needed. There's been some comments on traffic/noise...it's not hugging the road by any means. But...

We were traveling very late and found this hotel on Expedia. Called the front desk to let them know we would be arriving later and Katie was so sweet! She put us at ease that we would be able to check in later with no problems. Front desk clerk got us checked in quickly and was very kind. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great and staff were monitoring area to clean and refill food as it was taken.

If you are looking for a nice place to stay near Syracuse, this is place is a very good choice! The house is beautiful and sweet like home, and the breakfast is pretty delicious. There are some good restaurants nearby too, so don't need to worry about where to have dinners.
The only thing is that they really need to fix the front door of the room I stay (first floor). I couldn't open it from inside at first, then I couldn't lock it from outside. Something must be wrong with the electric...
