“The property was as described! We truly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space to gather and play cards both inside and outside.”

“We had a fun time staying at this house. We visited downtown Des Moines and had a great time at Adventureland. The only suggestion would be to have some dish towels in the kitchen. The arcade games, ping pong table and skee-ball were popular with the kids. ”

You can tell it was purchased with a quick-and-dirty turnaround as far as prepping it for VRBO-type stays.The host was responsive; the house was mostly clean; the appliances worked.This gets only four stars primarily because of a lack of light bulbs. Yes, seriously. Instead of light bulbs in the lamps in one of the bedrooms, there were click-on battery lights stuck onto where the light bulbs should go. “Our stay was wonderful. Everything was perfect with the house. A bathroom downstairs and an extra mirror are the only things that could make this house better but we made it all work and are very pleased with our stay!”

“The house was beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The only complaints from the guests were the bath towels are too small not very absorbent. Also the 1-ply toliet paper was not the quality one would expect for a place this nice. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this property.”
