"The prioperty was exactly as described. Very spacious, clean and a great value for the price. The location was excellent as we needed to be in downtown Des Moines. The only negative at all was the sketchy feel to the neighborhood. The Bodega next to the property entrance always had a number of people milling around day and night, and there was a Police presence there several times which made us wonder. We had no problems personally. "

"Comminication was great! We had a couple little hiccups along the way, but she resolved everything quickly. I also made a couple little suggestions on small amenities that we felt would have made our stay even better. She seemed very open to our suggestions, and vowed to include them in the future. "It was a great location to stay at!! Enjoyed the views, enjoyed the sirens at 2 in the morning! (I am a firefighter) the room was very nice there was a few strands of hair or not fully clean dishes which didn’t bother me I just washed them and moved on. I did not get to use the amenities, as the person before me kept the key fob, but was not a big deal overall I do recommend the location!! I will for sure stay in the future!!"

"The hotel is across the street from the south side of the beautiful Drake University so only a 3 block walk to the football/track stadium. The hotel is now about 5 years old. Everything is nice BUT if you want to wash your hands in the bathroom sink, well good luck! The spout is set sooo far back on the countertop, and the faucet spout is sooo short the water barely runs into the sink. There's noooo room to get your fingers behind the water to wash them. It's the same in EVERY room. OTHERS have reviewed the same, so that tells me that corporate doesn't give a dam!!! Just keep taking our money and don't give or fix anything. There are 2 simple fixes but after 5 years, you know the rest of the story. Just another "do nothing" company."
