You should have no trouble finding a place to stay that will suit your tastes. There are 2 nearby. Look into the Best Western Crossroads Of The Bluffs and Americinn Council Bluffs. They're both within 2 miles of Squirrel Cage Jail.
If you're traveling on a budget, you'll find a couple of satisfactory hotel options not too far away. A few places that are popular among visitors include the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Council Bluffs - Conv Ctr and the Candlewood Suites Omaha Airport.

One of the nicest things about traveling here is that after you stroll around Squirrel Cage Jail, the surrounding community still offers a great deal. Swing by Main Street Cafe (102 South Main Street, Council Bluffs) and chat with other travelers in search of a caffeine boost for the day. If the day is closing, stroll over to Quarthouse Bar (107 Pearl Street, Council Bluffs) and loosen up with some drinks.
