Room for improvement

Pros: A lot of shopping and restaurants in the area.
Cons: Monitor people smoking in the rooms better. Provide a better faster high-speed internet service.
The moment I walked into the room, I noticed the stench of cigarette smell; this is a non-smoking hotel. Also, I was told they have “High-Speed” internet; the internet is snail slow. The test showed less than 1 mps; to put that in perspective, Charter is 100mps. You can pay for 2.5 faster which means you pay for less than 2 mps. So, you go from snail to turtle slow for your money. Youtube videos keep stopping. Not sure this qualifies as “High-Speed”..

Stayed for a week. Was great to have a kitchen. Was centrally located. Easy access to surrounding area

stayed for a week room was great and having kitchen was even better. Used laundry which was a great blessing. Would recommend.

Was told when we got there that we had no room there but at another location even though we made reservations there. Staff didn't really care that we had made reservations there because it wa close to sons home. Would never recommend to anyone.

Smokers Paradise

Non smoking room stunk of cigarette smoke. Front sidewalk littered with cigarette butts. Staff spent a lot of time out back on smoking breaks. Not very pleasant for non smokers.

Good for what we needed.

Just a one night stay, the room was a good size, quiet, and clean. Breakfast was not what we thought it was gonna be. Just grab and go muffins, coffee, and granola bars.

Smile - It improves your "FACE" value

I arrived later than expected and there was no one at the front desk. Waited 20 minutes before the man showed up. Went to room and it had not been cleaned. Went back downstairs and waited again for the man to show up. He gave me another room. I understand that it is late and he was either at the end of his shift or had just started. Might of been better if he greeted with a Hello, how are you? or even a smile would have been welcoming. No continental breakfast....granola bar and a cup of coffee. They did accept pets so that was the plus side of my stay.

NOT IMPRESSED

Pros: The price that I got the room for
Cons: Everything, the service needs to be friendlier, the bathrooms in the rooms need to be cleaner, the pillows need to be changed and more of them
Location: Mid Rivers Mall was close, restaurants
I arrived 2 hours early to check in since we were playing baseball at 3pm and 5pm. Other hotels have let me do this and so I tried. When I walked in I greeted a younger man with a hello how are you and he never responded with a word. I asked if I could check in and he said at 3pm. I said okay and walked out. He was rude. I came back later that evening to check in and the YOUNG lady at the desk was nice and respectful. The rooms were OK. I will not go back to this hotel. The room had an odd smell about it, the bathtub was dirty with dirt and hair in it, the pillows were made of air it seemed like and the bed was not comfortable. It was just a rough night for my wife, son and I as we all three woke up stiff and not feeling like we had a good sleep. The AC unit was set at 68 degrees but I had to turn it on continuous fan so that it would stay cool in the room. Breakfast was some muffins and cereal bars with coffee and oatmeal. There was not a breakfast area to eat at and I was told that it would be ready at 5am, it was not ready till almost 6am. This was my first and last time to stay at this hotel.
