"The Air Conditioning was not working in our room. I requested to get it fix but still didn't work. The area is a bit noisy, but overall, it was a good place for the price."

"Amazing pools and lazy river. Lots of space for the little ones to play. The door to the room was a beast though, requiring a shoulder to open from the outside and significant pull from the inside. Loud and obnoxious door."

"Dated property with many opportunities for improvement! Had to be moved 3 times before we found a room that did not smell musty. The newer pools were great, hiking trails, and Pickle Ball were nice amenities as well, however you pay a daily fee. Would not stay again."

"The complimentary breakfast was deceiving as it was just coffee and a small wrapped muffin. Room itself was very nice though. Towels did have some stains on it. "

"The room smelled like cigarettes when we got in. It was very musty. We had to wear sandals while inside because the bottom of our feet her black with dirt. "

"Employees at the Rise Uptown are super friendly; the property is nice, clean and conveniently located. The hotel, however, is undergoing some changes in the management of the pool, bars and kitchen. Consequently, those areas seem to be terribly understaffed and will likely stay that way until the new team gets things the way they want them. Because of the chaos, we were promised free drinks at the rooftop bar by the manager but did not receive them. Instead, we were treated to the sound of someone running the upstairs hallways in heavy work boots every night until the rooftop bar closed. It was annoying. They seem like capable people, so I expect that they will get their act together. But during our brief stay, it wasn't as nice as it could have been."

"Internet was good, breakfast was good, coffee was excellent. Friendly staff. Was here for 3 days and had no hot water. I reported it 3 times and i still had no hot water. I am older and have arthritis and taking a cold shower each morning was not good! The room was nice, very comfortable bed in separate room with fold out couch in living room, and handicap parking right there, but the water situation was really upsetting. "
