“Hello, I hope you're doing well. I'm writing to request compensation for the issues we experienced during our recent stay. We were first assigned room 216, and upon entering, we found someone already sleeping inside. This was an uncomfortable and concerning situation, especially since it resulted from being given the wrong room. We were then moved to room 222, which unfortunately had additional problems. The room had a strong humid odor, and there was not enough toilet paper provided. Given the……

“Nothing for breakfast except coffee. Door on room did not fit well, allowing visible cracks that showed hallway. Sure seems like someone is living there as the food odors were very strong (and not good) at the same time each night. Check-in took too long, and check-out was even longer. People hanging around lobby during check-out made it very strange and the clerk said nothing so I assume they were related. I will NOT stay at this hotel again.”

“outdoor stairs were a fun adventure for us with a snow storm, but we made it. We really enjoyed the front porch and heater in there while resting and reading. ”

“The Blue Gate Garden Inn was the perfect place to stay and enjoy the area. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the customer service was outstanding, and the amenities were the perfect combination to make our stay memorable. My only complaints were that the bed we stayed in was not very comfortable and the AC in the room occasionally made a loud rumbling sound. The bed sunk in the middle causing my arthritis to swell up quite a bit. The AC in our room had some issues also. It made our room……

“It is nothing fancy other than a great, convenient place to lay your head down, get a good shower, breakfast and friendly service for a reasonable price before hitting the Shipshewana flea market for a day of shopping. I stay here all the time and haven't really been disappointed ever.”

“Lights over sink didn’t work. Toilet very hard to flush. Corners were filthy. Electrical outlet pulled out of socket with power strip plugged in with TV, microwave and refrigerator plugged into it. Entering the room light switch didn’t work so had to plug the light into the fixture. Dirty towels were left on floor two days in a row. Had to go ask for clean ones. Advertising free breakfast but none was ever served. Faucet was dirty over the sink. A table lamp was provided for the sink area. We……
