"This hotel was in the process of being renovated. The first floor was still being worked on, so they were putting people in the second and third floor. We were on the third floor and our room was very clean and very new. However not all rooms had all the amenities yet. We had an amazing young lady at the front counter named Andrea and she had such a delightfulpersonality. She was so welcoming, accommodating, and she went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable. Honestly when I saw how good the price was to stay there, I checked the reviews and saw how good they were. And that was what made us book this hotel. The next time I'm in the area I'd like to come by and see how it looks completely finished. And I hope Andrea's boss sees this and gives her a raise or a promotion."

"There is no airport shuttle from TPA. The rude guest shouting from the balcony of obscenities and profanities and smoking pot on the balconies, there was piles of trash by my room. It looks like some kind of weird thing going down near my room. The place was filled with junk and it looked like it would have been used for storage and people are coming and going loading things in vans. It was very shady. The only nice thing about the entire facility was the pool area that was nice. I’m warning you. Something is going on with some of those rooms. Things are being stored there. Things are being done there that have nothing to do with guests staying for a few nights. "

"Amenities were awesome. Very nice resort. Rooms were a little outdated but perfect for a family vacation. My only complaint was they tried to charge me 25$ a night x5 nights for a bassinet for my newborn. I went and bought one for 60$. Resort fees and parking really add up- over 400$ for a 5 night stay. Overall I would recommend it, especially if you’re getting a good rate. Restaurants are good but severely overpriced- can walk across the street and each much better and for way less money, "

"this past week was our second time staying at Zota. First trip last year was ok but this trip, not so much. The staff here wasn't very pleasant and the hose keepers missed cleaning our room 3 days out of the 7 we stayed there. coffee runs out in the morning and 4 days I notified the staff asking to bring more. idk I feel like resort staff should keep an eye on stuff like coffee in the morning?? decent bang for your buck if your looking to get out on the island but don't except too much from Zota. the valet service on the other hand was top notch! those guys were running around like crazy getting everyone to their vehicles as quickly as possible. too bad the good service ends at their front door..."

"My flight was cancelled by the airline. My reservation has passed the cancellation period, but the hotel staff cancelled my reservation with a full refund. Very nice and very friendly. Will definitely try to stay here again next time."
