2/10 Terrible

"That was the most worst place in cedar rapids that I have ever been in the room had stuff still on the floor there was a hole in the bathroom ceiling like it had leaked and it looked moldy and dirty and nasty there was a ring around the bathtub and then I go to go to the pool to go swimming get in the pool and it is freezing freezing cold even though it was really nice out but this water was so cold it's like somebody dropped ice cubes in there and there are bugs flies gnats and food in the pool so no I was not too happy I even left extremely early because I was so disgusted so no I would not recommend that hotel to anybody"

"We got the worst room in the hotel! Booked our room late afternoon for same night arrival. Got to the hotel @ 9:30pm. Parking lot not full. Front desk attendant was courteous. Gave us a room on the 2nd floor next to the elevator. @ 4:00am the elevator got active and continued loudly the rest of our stay. Loud even with earplugs in! The beds were arranged where our heads were right by the elevator. Our rooms door gave no privacy as you could see all the way around it lighting up the room with no darkness. Booked thru Expedia."

"I liked that there was a restaurant on the property, which is also at the top of building for a lovely view of Cedar Rapids. Also liked that the parking was directly across the street. And coffee in the lobby for a period of time in the mornings."

"Air conditioning was very odd. You couldn’t just set it to cold. If the temp got below the temp set, the heat would turn on instead of just turning the air off. So the room was constantly changing between warm and cool. Beds were comfortable. Staff were all friendly. Hotel was overall very nice. Would stay again."

"I would not recommend nor stay at it again. The bed was a cheap foam mattress with no support beneath. Furniture was sparce and worn out. Probably got from a garage sale. Facility was badly in need of refreshing. I had to have staff for a chair. Breakfast was cold and uncreative. I'm beginning to think about not ever booking at a Hampton Inn again. They are falling apart."
