We booked the “standard suite” for one night. Let’s start with the fact that the description of this room included a rainfall shower head and bathrobes which not only was inaccurate, but confusing as to why they would even lie about that, considering the state of the room. There were several things going on that caused me to actually sleep wearing my clothes for fear of bed bugs. The smoke alarm had no cover with exposed wires which is a huge safety hazard, the carpet had wrinkles in it that we were tripping over, masking tape under the counters to hold them together, only one light bulb working out of four above the mirror, no drain covers for any of the three drains in the room, a shower head with rubber tape holding it together, bolts for a towel bar but no towel bar, drawers that don’t work because they are broken, an armoire for a tv that does not contain a tv, a coffee table with a broken leg so better not place anything on it… and these are just a few of the many things that made me cringe.
