Welcome to your home away from home. This fully renovated 2 bedroom suite located on the Foothills of Silver Star Mountain Ski Resort has unobstructed views of the mountains and the city. You can take advantage of the property's great location close to the ski resort and the city is right at your door step, access to fantastic trails and15 mins up to the ski hill and 10 minutes to Lake Okanagan for beach activity in the summer.

The property is bright and spacious with a large beautiful kitchen, large windows allowing for breathtaking vistas, inside enjoy a warm and comfortable decor. After skiing unwind by the electric fireplace in the living room.

The open kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, stove top, Tassamo coffee maker, cookware, tableware and cutlery allowing easy dining and entertaining. The living room features a 50 inch flat screen, full HBO and cable package and wireless Internet.

The property features 2 bedrooms. The property also features in suite washer and dryer. The bedroom contains a queen size bed, and a 32" flat screen TV. The second bedrooms features a queen sized bed and large closet space.

This is the Lower Floor (2 bed/1 bath)

For the 2 bedroom suite we would consider longer term stays within a 3 month period.

This is a self check in. So the hosts will email you with all the check in instructions and the door codes before arrival.

The Foothills neighbourhood in Vernon BC is named for its geography as it is the foothills of Silver Star Mountain. Many homes have spectacular views of all three lakes including Swan Lake, Kalamalka Lake and Okanagan Lake. Most homes enjoy fabulous city and/or lake views while some even see all three lakes. Night city views are especially spectacular.

There is parking in the driveway. No parties, No smoking, max 2 vehicles allowed, no noise after 11pm or fines will be in place.

We went out to Vernon to visit our daughter. She has a small apartment and we wanted a large place so we can all meet together comfortably. The place we rented was beautiful and spacious and we spent a lot of time on the deck. We also cooked on the bbq. We enjoyed our stay, thanks for the hospitality!

All the comforts of home
We have stayed at this property a few times now to hold family gatherings around Christmas, and it’s perfect for that. The decorations made the space festive and all the needed appliances and utensils helped us prepare holiday meals. Will definitely be back.

The owner did not make clear in advance of our booking it was a downstairs suite which meant 15 stairs down and 15 feet of gravel to drag suitcases and a difficult walk for our friend in a boot cast. The owner was very responsive and helpful to all our inquiries and requests for assistance.

We had no issues at all with the property and the views were amazing to wake up to every morning with a cup of coffee. Amazing property
This home is new and spotless. The common spaces are huge, bigger than can be shown in photos. The furniture, patio set, and beds were all very comfortable. It had everything we could have possibly needed. Location was great. Hostess communication was the best I’ve ever experienced (she phoned me right away to discuss my concerns regarding the forest fires) and her recommendations for local activities were spot on. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay here in the future!

Great family reunion in Vernon
We enjoyed our stay. This unit is large and bright and has all the amenities you would need for short vacation or if you prefer a long stay. Perfect suite with a view
This is my second stay, having rented both the upstairs and now the lower suite. Christine is a great host, who makes you feel extremely welcome and wants to ensure you have everything you need. The suite is stocked with everything we could possibly need plus more, including spices. The extra bonus of the lower suite, was that the outdoor space has enough shade in the outdoor patio/ table space. We were able to choose to sit in sun or shade as we ate dinner outside, enjoying the view of the lake. The location is perfect if you plan to hike or bike at silverstar and still wish to enjoy the lakes in the same day as the house has quick access to both.
