“The property is located in such a lovely peaceful setting. Early morning on the patio listening to the birds is calming. The inside of the property is charming and everything is spotless. Very nice and we will return if we ever go back through the area again.”

“This is a very unique, historic hotel overlooking the scenic banks of the Ohio River. The room was cozy, clean and very comfortable. I also appreciated the second-floor balcony, which provided a lovely view of the river, as well as the complementary tea/coffee supplies. I highly recommend this traditional hotel, especially for history lovers and explorers in search of memorable experiences!”

“The property was well maintained. It was the room that was a disappointment. I was there for 5 days and the room had a very musty smell. The carpets were also wet, so you needed to always wear shoes. My sister and her husband stayed in another room and said it was the same. Unfortunately it was hard to get used to the smell. On the plus side, the breakfast was great and the dining area was very clean. The workers were pleasant and very helpful.”

“Room was clean and checkin was smooth The hotel was dark and had an odor. Breakfast was minimal. Beds were springy and not super comfortable. Ok stay for one night stop over on our road trip.”
