“This was the perfect house for us! We live in Hatteras and took our boat up to Wanchese to run some trips in late August - there was space for all of us who work on the boat and then some for our guest leaders who helped us out. The layout is spectacular and there is so much space to spread out and relax or work! The back porch was our favorite place to relax every evening when we got back from the boat - the yard is spacious and fenced in for pets! The host and property manager communicated...

“It was relatively clean, the AC worked well, and the wifi worked well, too. There are a lot of palmetto bugs around the property, which is likely the "roaches" other people mention. They did not come inside though. Shower was too small to comfortably use, and was a bit run down and old. Parking lot is rough, and it floods when it rains hard, making part of it unusable to small cars. Staff generally seemed nice and got me more towels when I asked for them. Beds were comfortable and sheets...

“We stayed here over 4th of July weekend. The location is excellent, the room was clean (maybe a tiny bit antiquey smelling), the staff was perfectly lovely, and we enjoyed the grounds and large room. They offered vouchers for two local breakfast diners, as they don’t currently have a chef on staff. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back.”
