Apartments in Waterloo for Rent

"There was no elevator. I have arthritis and going up and down was painful. The light in the laundry area stayed off most of the time. No rugs. My dog was sliding everywhere. Laundry room was filthy. The indian lady was not very nice. I won't be going there again. Holes in curtain and bedspread. It was terrible"

"I arrived after midnight and they lock doors after a certain hour do very safe. They buzzed me in and got my room quickly. It was quiet and clean"

"This B&B is alright. The rooms are a nice size. Staff is friendly. The drink tickets are a nice touch. It's a little off the beaten path. A decent view if you're facing the water. The train goes by and is very loud (though they do provide ear plugs & candy). My biggest issue is that everything smells like old, stale cigarettes. People smoke outside on the patio of the restaurant and on the hotel balconies which will inevitably waft in. It is very old and I think decades of people smoking in those rooms and halls means that until all of the carpet and wallpaper is removed it will likely always smell faintly of stale cigarettes. I am sensitive to the smell and knew that changing my room would not help the situation. This a little thing, but the bathroom towels are so far away from the shower and there are no hooks by the shower. I aprpeciate that it's a funky little place and that's why I booked it. I was not expecting everything to be prestine. But the smell is hard to tolerate."
