This was probably the nicest hotel I have stayed at during my travels. It was as nice as some resorts I have been to. The room was spacious, modern, clean, and surprisingly quiet considering I had a room right on the balcony above the front desk. Friendly staff, clean hotel, what more could you want? The room was very nice / spacious and the bathroom was very clean. The pool area was impeccable and the lobby area of the hotel is nice for grabbing a free cup of coffee and reading/chatting, etc. The breakfast (included) offered a nice range of hot and cold options and all were tasty. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this hotel was great! A very historic Boutique Hotel that takes you back in time! Each room has a theme of its own which is unique to the period. The owner was very friendly and made sure that I had everything that I needed to make my stay excellent! If you're ever in that area or even doing business in the Madison Wisconsin area you may consider taking an extra half hour to drive to this hotel and stay there. Can't wait until I can go back in warm weather to use their beautiful outdoor pool, & the hot tub (the hot tub is available year-round but some work had to be done on it). I was very hedonistic & enjoyed the solitude of the jacuzzi in my own room, and it was lovely to be able to watch the marsh go to sleep, then reawaken in the morning, all from the comfy coziness of my own room . We enjoyed our stay! The lobby was fresh, new, colorful, fun, clean, cheerful, warm, inviting & spacious to hang out in. There was even a nice new pool table. The location was very convenient!
