“Clean and quiet. Everything worked. Bed was comfortable.”

“We were there from a Friday to Monday and did not get our roomed cleaned one time. Their policy is every other day and that is fine but on Sunday evening when we returned to our room from the day nothing had been done! No clean towels, no beds made, no new toiletries etc. Part of what you pay for and enjoy when you stay at a hotel is coming back to a clean room. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they were not helpful at all. They stated the cleaning staff was gone for the day and……

“Waiting the fire alarm and flood for nearly one hour and very hard to get asleep again.”

“Place is a DUMP - Filthy Walls - Rooms stink - Sinks are cracked flooring is worn and torn. TVS out dated flat out DUMP.....Rooms not cleaned during the day. Pay extra and go down street to Baymont.”

“The hotel is outdated. Driving up there’s a limo with a flat tire in the parking lot. The staff has their kids hanging out with birds at the front desk. They don’t speak English as a first language which is hard to understand at times. The room has holes in bathroom door from missing hooks, the towels were clearly old and thinning, there was a piece of cardboard holding the vent from rattling….. it reminded me of a spring break trip from 1990s. Needs a huge cleaning, even the main windows in……

“Overall our stay was good. I recognize that the higher price mainly reflects the location (which is great) and the suite (which was also very nice to have), but I do feel like prices are a little high. The rooms could use a bit of an update, bathroom was quite small for it being a suite, and the bed and pillow were extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast was also pretty underwhelming. Considering they do have an onsite restaurant I feel like it could be better. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

“The grounds definitely need some landscaping and upkeep done - not a great first impression on arrival. Seems to be operating on a very slim staff - takes a while to get someone on the phone. The room appeared clean and tended to. Breakfast was included by nothing looked very appetizing - the coffee was horrible. Overpriced if it were elsewhere, but for a place to sleep overnight during a couple days at the beach, it was adequate. Certainly wouldn't stay again here if I intended to spend……

“We loved the beautiful house of the bed & breakfast- have never stayed in one before. Lake view and walkable to many shops and restaurants. We drove mostly due to the heat wave we had. Nice breakfast every morning. One day the owner was sick and we had to fend for ourself but she gave everybody a 50$ credit on our stay. We have not received yet, but just checked out. Overall the rooms were very nice and area quiet.”

“Room 301 has a musty smell. Front desk knew about the smell but still sold the room to us and I’m sure other visitors. They said that they have shampoo the carpet but cannot determine where the smell is coming from. Their solution was to try and offer a $20 credit, which I denied and cancelled my entire reservation with them. Front desk also mentioned that it’s only that room and no other rooms in the hotel, supposedly.”
