The staff were fine. The website said restaurant and bar. There was a bar, but the only thing on the menu was a few appetizers. The hotel has only been open for a year and a half so they haven’t extended their menu yet! Plus, their toilets make so much noise when you flush, that you can hear the ...

This home was perfect for our group. The hot tub was very nice and clean. We utilized the grill and outside seating area. The downstairs bar area was a great hang out for our group. The kids had fun playing pool and ping pong. The beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Fort Des Moines. Room was comfortable and clean. The restaurants, both Proudfoot and Hibnob, were great. The bartender at Proudfoot was the best!

Great place to stay for our family of 5 with 3 kids (6, 5, and 8 mon). Close to a park, restaurants, groceries, etc and not too far from main attractions. Very clean and communicative host. Games in the house were a huge hit. Highly recommended.
