"My first visit to Silverton and I'm so glad I chose to stay at The Avon! Loved the charm of this place, very fitting to the full experience of a mountain town at high elevation. The whole establishment was kept very clean, bathrooms are clean and stuffed with clean towels and toiletries, the kitchen/bar/living room area is very roomy. "Excellent location, very cooperative check in staff. Clean room, lack of A/C in our room, only portable fan was available. Breakfast was nice with only few options. Very happy with location and clean property. Expect a lot more expensive foods in the very beautiful small town. Free gondola station and city park and in just a few minutes walking distance."

"The check in is at triangle motel, just two blocks walk. Tiny room with bunk bed and bathroom across the hall but its all very clean and well put. The screw did fly loose from the bunk bed in the middle of the night, didnt notice till morning when went to check what fell at night (room 8, please check its good, forgot to tell the staff). Right in the middle of the town, great location. The rooms dont have AC but its cold with the window open but you will hear everyone around and outside. 20 min from Ice lake hike. Overall good place for the price and in comparison to other hotels."

"The hot springs pool was amazing. I loved the courtyard area. It was peaceful to sit out there and read. The rooms are basic but clean. Beds are comfortable. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner or you’ll have to use the provided body wash as shampoo. I loved the short walk to town. And coffee and tea in the lobby was nice to have."

"I have one suggestion that I think is important. Your hot springs were very nice but very slippery stepping in. I think that having someone scrub the bit of algae off the inside once a week would be greatly beneficial for everyone. Also I wanted to thank you for quickly returning my son’s laptop to him. It’s greatly appreciated as he needs it for school."

"We enjoyed a nice week-long stay at the Hillside Inn. Our room was very clean and quiet. The bed was a comfortable Tempur-Pedic style mattress. The Continental breakfast was decent with oatmeal, toast, English muffins, bagels, blueberry muffins, several types of cereal, and yogurt along with milk and juices. We liked the extended hours for breakfast, sleeping in some mornings and getting out early other mornings. There was ample parking but the street to get to the hotel has a lot of potholes and in need of attention by the city. It was a good thing we did not bring our Ebikes because there is no place to secure them and they're not allowed in the rooms (not that we really want to do that) and most hotels don't have accommodations to secure them. We were 5 minutes from the golf course, minutes from some great restaurants and centrally located for abundant hiking opportunities. The individual room air conditioners can get a little loud, but we set the fan to run continuously so it really just created a constant white noise that we adjusted to and could sleep through. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub - both were well-kept and clean. It was unusually hot the week we were there. While the rooms were cool, the hallways were hot! Our room was on the 2nd floor and while not a problem for us, I don't believe they have an elevator. Guests with mobility issues need to request a room on the first floor. Overall, a great stay!"
